You are looking at a Marx wind-up toy. This colorful old tin toy is one version, I believe the first, of the Louis Marx & Co. Moon Creatures. He is also similar to Chompy the Beetle which was also a popular Marx toy. His body is yellow and white striped and his back is white with blue circles on it. His arms are pinned and swing by his side as he moves about. When wound by the attached key the robot moves forward opening and closing his mouth, making a clicking sound and a space alien squeak. He has bulging plastic eyes with black discs inside that float about and missing both of the original antennae. On the back he is marked with the Marx logo and information including the Roman numeral dating him to 1968 and; Made in Japan. The condition is good to fair. It is dirty, but I did not want to clean it in case someone can restore it. It is in good working condition. Thank you for looking. Paypal is the only method of payment.
