Vintage 1974 Mego Bat Cave - Complete and Near Mint This playset belonged to a boy who took good care of his things and has been attic-stored since 1977. The outer and inner plastic is in very good condition and the snaps and "bat lock" on the front door work perfectly. The bat signal still works and the set comes with the original mat and directions. The only flaws are a little age spotting on the plastic near the base for the bat pole (though the spots are on the bottom side and not visible when everything is set up) and the wooden bat pole has been "trimmed" at the top.
