Snoopy-Peanuts Valentine's Day Tin Metal Locker with Original Sealed Cookies and Original Tag, Mint This metal box is a vintage Snoopy tin locker made by American Speciality Confections and contained a cellophane sealed pouch of the original vanilla mini heart cookies which I feel safe reporting would be inedible. The box is in mint condition and measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches with it's original paper tag. On either of the long sides is the peanuts gang, waving, with the saying "Be My Valentine." The top features Snoopy with Woodstock inside a heart. The bottom is red with the manufacturing information. One flat side is Snoopy hugging Woodstock and saying "Be My Valentine." The main side of the box has vent slots, a metal handle and a tiny red plastic "lock" to simulate the look of a school locker. On that side is Snoopy with Woodstock sitting on his lap and the saying, "Be My Valentine." There are also two "hinges" that are non-functional, but again are used to give the appearance of a locker. The box comes from a smoke free home and only had one owner who was a collector of Peanuts' memorabilia. It has been in safe storage over the years and is in immaculate condition.
