I am heading off to college, and into a much smaller living space. Sadly I have to part with many things as there just isn't room. I love Popples, and at one time I bought every Popple I could lay my hands on. I have a very large Popple family and now is your chance to give some of them a home. The Popples was a 30-minute cartoon based on a series of toys created by American Greeting Cards & Mattel. The show aired from 1985-1987. These fuzzy, magical creatures could pull anything out of the pouches on their backs from a hammer to an elephant. They also flipped into their pouches to become balls of fur to bounce around or hide. The name "Popples" came from the popping sound they made when they sprang back out of a ball to normal. This is a pink puffling. Pufflings were introduced after the Punk Rockers and the Babies. They interact with all the Popples and provided a couple of riddles every episode after they were introduced. They are smaller than Putter, Potato Chip, and Pretty Bit. They do not have pouches like the Popples but they also turn into balls of fur by flipping inside-out. When they are a ball of fur, a piece of paper (or on the plush toy, a plastic tag) sticks out which bears a riddle. The riddles are usually silly and corny! Pufflings do not talk but only laugh (at their own jokes!). There were only six of them: white, blue, purple, yellow, red, and magenta-colored."
