Here is a Vintage 1950's Howdy Doody Doll - 12" Goldberger Doll. Remember Buffalo Bob Smith & his ventriliquist doll? This is a smaller version of his Howdy! He has a string in the back of his head that controls his mouth movements. His head and hands are plastic (or vinyl) and the remainder of his body is cloth. His head and facial features are bright in color with no worn places noted. His jeans appear to be a little dirty (but then, he served a tornado with us!) Included is his original box which didn't actually fare as well as he did. The cellophane in the front is tore but the box as a whole is intact. No specific date is noted on the box or body tag. This is absolutely one of the cutest/impish doll I've ever seen. A must have for collectors of Vintage Dolls or puppets. It's time to pass him on to another young at heart.
