The bird has prerecorded sayings plus can record your voice and repeat what you say too!It operates on batteries and comes with a remote control. The movements it makes are fascinating and will entertain you for hours upon hours. He is about 18 inches tall including his perch (from which he can be removed).It comes with some batteries but we do not know how much longer they will last. It has been played with. In fact, this one was used for a demo to help sell them sort of like at kiosks in the mall. Therefore, it has been gentle use. We have tested him and he works fine. He comes with the instruction book and the remote. We do not have the box!!PLEASE NOTE: A screw on his foot has been replace with a screw that is not original to the toy. We show this in the picture.
