ALL ITEMS IN MY AUCTIONS COME FROM A SMOKE AND PET-FREE ENVIRONMENT About DeAgostini Disney Porcelain Dolls These porcelain dolls range in size between 11-24 centimetres (4.5 to 9.5 inches) tall—the shortest doll would be one of the dwarfs at 4.5 inches, the tallest doll is Jafar at 9.5 inches, most are between 7 and 8 inches tall—and are recreated in their original dress or outfit with realistic hair and delicate features making the resemblance to the original Disney screen characters almost exact. This is what sets DeAgostini apart from other company lines—incredible attention to detail down to the very last feature. These dolls are primarily PORCELAIN—the face, arms, legs and body—and their arms and legs are MOVEABLE (they are attached inside the body by way of elastic). The outfit is then sewn on. The dolls CANNOT be undressed as portions of the outfit are sewn tightly to the doll at the waist/midsection. Other portions of the dolls, such as accessories, are usually glued on. Some of the dolls have features that are even hand-painted on.This collection comes from the Disney Princess Porcelain (The World of Disney Princesses in Porcelain) series. These are considered RARE, highly collectible dolls, made available only through a subscription to DeAgostini (discontinued in 2005) within a certain number of countries (Australia, Italy, Spain and the UK to name a few), howeverthese dolls were never made available to Canada or the United StatesThese dolls are no longer produced, making them very valuable and EXTREMELY difficult to find.This doll is from the UK DeAgostini collection. About the MAGAZINESPlease be advised that these dolls are supposed to come with MAGAZINES about the character, as well as the making of the DeAgostini doll itself.
