Up for Bid... A Buffy: the Vampire Slayer Wardrobe Silver Tinted Resin Dome Ring Prop worn by Sarah Michelle Gellar! I received a shipment of props from a California prop house that furnishes, buys and sells items used in movies and TV shows. Since the items were purchased as a lot sale, the individual props don't come with COA's from the individual studios so I will include a Certificate of Authenticity from myself as well as a copy of the receipt from when the prop lot was purchased. You should also know that my auctions now are for the LAST of my inventory from this particular Prop House and that I've been informed by this vendor that it may be quite some time before another Buffy lot becomes available for purchase. The ring offered in this auction is fashioned out of a hard, plastic-type resin. The ring is in great shape without any scratches or chips. The ring has a dome top that tapers down the sides into a thin bottom band. It is clear, but has silver coating on the inside of the band giving the entire ring a silver gleam. I've sold a couple of dome rings similar to this, but those had more of a glitter filled appearance. It is a very nice costume ring. The dome top is approximately 1 inch wide by ¾ inches long, the width of the bottom band measures approximately 1/8 inches. The height of the ring from the bottom of the band to the top of the dome measures approximately 1 1/8 inches. It appears to be a size 7. Attached to the ring is a cardboard tag with BUFFY: THE VAMPIRE SLAYER on one side and WARDROBE RING (DOME) with the initials SMG on the other side. I take that to mean that it was a part of stock wardrobe accessories worn by actress SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR (Buffy) in one or more episodes. It looks a lot like the style of rings Buffy used to wear during the first season. Just my opinion. Please see the scan of the DOME RING and TAG the winning bidder will be receiving. This item can be shipped overseas. Item will be shipped International Priority. Due to the bulk of the ring, it will have to be shipped in a box, so Priority shipping will be $23.00 USD Worldwide.
