8 DISNEY DVDS...SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS ENGLISH, MADARIN & ENGLISH SUBTITLES These dvds play perfectly in English. They have beautiful color and wonderful sound (they are THX). We bought them because we wanted to play them in Mandarin as well as English. They will play in Mandarin for the first few minutes (the introduction) if you select Mandarin. When you get to the actual movie they automatically switch over to English. You can select Mandarin for the subtitle and it will play in English with Mandarin subtitles. Perhaps these were meant to be region 3, but we live in the state of Washington; so if that is the case, it doesn't help us. Four of these dvds are used and 4 are new and still in their shrink wrap. They do not have artwork. All the dvds are perfect. The four used ones were only handled by instructors (not students) so even the used dvds are perfect! THESE ARE GREAT MOVIES AND WOULD MAKE WONDERFUL GIFTS. IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE THAT IS LEARNING TO READ CHINESE THESE WOULD BE GREAT! **IF YOU JUST WANT A GREAT MOVIE THAT PLAYS IN ENGLISH....WITH OR WITHOUT ENGLISH SUBTITLES THESE WOULD BE GREAT.
