This wondeful set is COMPLETE with trailer, ramp, all nine cars and original box all in very good condition! It was made in Japan and is marked SSS International on the underside of the cab. This is the TURNPIKE AUTO TRANSPORT, an "exclusive toy - sold only by Sears, Roebuck and Co. , Simpsons-Sears Limited and The Robert Simpson Co. " very hard to find, especially in this condition. There is a strong friction "power motor" in the main unit and 9 steel cars with friction motors. All motors work and all but one are very strong. The trailer hold two rows of cars on the top and a single row inside on the lower deck. The ramp is present and in great condition. There are no dents on the transport unit and paint is good. There is a small amount of paint wear near the hitch (shows in photo). All 28 of the rubber tires are present although the piece that attaches one of the back wheel is broken off but is included. Wheels in great condition also. The 9 cars are: An MG (no damage) A black Rolls (marked RR on the "license plates") A Pugeut, yellow (small dent on top) An MB - Benz convertible, top down An Opal A yellow American type car (T-Bird?)
